RV Technician

Position Details:

We are looking to add a full time RV Technician to our team. This position requires someone who is dedicated to providing the highest level of workmanship for each and every one of our customers. The RV Technician is an important component to our Service Department by maintaining, repairing and diagnosing customer concerns with their RV trailer. The RV Technician will perform repairs to the manufacturer set guidelines as well as ensuring our customers’ expectations are exceeded on every occasion.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities include but are not excluded to:
  • Keeping current with factory technical bulletins
  • Installation of accessories on RVs
  • Performing pre-delivery inspections
  • Reading and writing repair orders
  • Troubleshooting
  • Tepair and maintenance of propane and electric appliances such as furnaces, refrigerators, water heaters, ranges, and air conditioners
  • Repairs to fiberglass, body and structural components
  • Installation, repairs, replacement, and maintenance of roofs, sliding windows, doors, vents, awnings, floor coverings, cabinets, counters, plumbing systems, electrical systems, propane systems, batteries, etc
  • Computer operation and diagnostics
  • Is driven, reliable and works well in a shop environment
  • Assist in mentoring RV technician trainees
  • Comprehend and comply with federal, provincial and local waste regulations

Job Type: Full-time

Education / Related Experience:
  • RV Technician experience is an asset
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Gas Certification is an asset
  • Other:
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong computer skills are imperative

RV Salesperson

Position Details:
  • Assist customers with buying decisions
  • Help customers select the unit which best fits their needs and advise on towing requirements
  • Present and sell all makes and models of new and used units
  • Present and sell other value-added options
  • Write deals to present to sales manager/general manager
  • Maintain regular follow-up with prospective and current clients
  • Prepare preliminary used vehicle appraisals
Key responsibilities and accountabilities include but are not excluded to:
  • The ability to effectively communicate verbally, in writing or through email
  • Ability to confront and resolve difficult customer service situations
  • Professional Appearance – safety gear as needed; example-steel toe shoes
  • Demonstrated customer service skills
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions
  • General knowledge of recreational and automotive parts and mechanical operations

Parts and Service Clerk

Position Details:

The Parts & Service Support Clerk must be able to perform a wide variety of tasks. The position requires the ability to communicate and work closely and efficiently with others in a sometimes, fast-paced and stressful environment. The Parts & Service Support Clerk, sorts, checks for inaccuracies when receiving new shipments, as well, be extremely organized in the fulfillment of their responsibilities.

Reports To: Parts & Service Manager
Key responsibilities and accountabilities include but are not excluded to:
  • Put away parts, accurately pull parts for work orders and inspect all parts stocked and pulled
  • Locate difficult part items and through experience, observation and available resources
  • Verify the proper identification of parts when stocking to and pulling from shelves and match that id to other parts in the same location
  • Follow daily inventory control procedures and participate in inventory counts when needed
  • Control quality by properly cleaning, identifying and inspecting component parts prior to putting them into inventory
  • Pick up and deliver parts locally as required
  • Act as “runner” for the service team, pulling parts and delivering internally for in-process priority work orders
  • Process warranty claims and returns
  • Be capable of performing basic equipment maintenance and housekeeping duties including organizing and keeping the work area clean and safe
  • Work closely with management to learn and to develop the best practices and procedures and find ways in which to increase productivity
  • Communicate with supervisors and other departments any issue related to performing the duties of this position
  • Understand health and safety policies and procedures and applicable regulations pertaining to the work environment
